Dr. Bustos combines advanced training in cosmetic and restorative dentistry with her fellowship in facial aesthetics to provide comprehensive, highly personalized care. A Las Vegas native and Bishop Gorman alumna, she is passionate about helping patients feel confident in their smiles and in themselves while empowering the next generation of women to pursue their own ambitions.
Dr. Angelica Bustos brings a refined blend of artistry, advanced clinical training, and attention to detail to every patient experience. As a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (FAAFE), she has pursued advanced education in facial aesthetics, including therapeutic and cosmetic applications of botulinum toxin and dermal fillers.
Her background as a dentist provides extensive education and daily clinical experience with the teeth, smile, facial muscles, nerves, jaw, and head-and-neck anatomy. She brings this perspective to facial aesthetics, approaching treatment as an extension of the smile and overall facial harmony.
Dr. Bustos also has a special interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, airway health, and sleep dentistry. Her philosophy is centered on thoughtful, individualized care designed to help patients look and feel like the best version of themselves.
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Dr. Angelica Bustos is proud to practice dentistry in the community she has always called home. A Bishop Gorman High School alumna, she went on to earn both her bachelor’s degree and Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Following dental school, Dr. Bustos continued to pursue advanced education in cosmetic and restorative dentistry and facial aesthetics. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (FAAFE) and is currently pursuing Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) as part of her ongoing commitment to continuing education and comprehensive patient care.
Dr. Bustos’s passion for service extends beyond the dental office through her involvement with organizations including the Special Olympics and Adopt-a-Vet Dental Program.
She also has a special connection to the Miss America Organization through her previous participation in the Miss Nevada competition. She deeply valued her time within the organization and its emphasis on scholarship, service, confidence, leadership, and empowering young women to pursue their goals.
As a first-generation Filipino American and the first doctor in her large Filipino family, Dr. Bustos is especially passionate about encouraging young women—particularly those from diverse backgrounds—to pursue careers and opportunities they may not have previously imagined for themselves.
Dr. Bustos is also proud to serve as a J. BARBER Brand Ambassador, representing a brand founded by fellow dentists that is reimagining clinical workwear for today’s healthcare professionals. J. BARBER was created to bring form, function, and fashion together through elevated clinical apparel designed around the real demands of private practice.
Outside the office, Dr. Bustos enjoys crafting with her Cricut, baking sourdough bread, and spending time with her husband, Dr. Matthew Thacker, and their two dogs, Puka and Boba.
She remains deeply connected to the Las Vegas community and is passionate about supporting other women, future healthcare professionals, and the next generation of leaders.
