“I have been a patient of Exceptional Dentistry since 2014. One of my crowns fell off (tooth #30). Dr Angelica Bustos did the initial consultation to see if the tooth could be saved, and it could not because part of the tooth had broken off in the crown. Dr Matthew Thacker proposed a plan to extract the tooth, add additional bone if necessary, put in an implant, and make a new crown. On Monday, November 3rd, Dr Thacker removed the tooth and grafted some bone to my gum. I will go back in a few months for the implant and then for the crown. Dr Thacker extacted my tooth under local anesthesia and it was a very easy and painless experience. I have had other teeth extracted under twilight sedation and this was much faster and I was completely comfortable the entire time. I did not have to fast, and I did not have the groggy feeling and the after effects you can get with IV sedation. Catherine at the front desk is very welcoming, responsive and accomodating. Krystal and Myles assisted during the procedure and I was made to feel very comfortable the whole time. Dr Thacker explained everything he was doing as he went along and kept asking if I was OK or if I needed a break. I also get my teeth cleaned at Exceptional Dentistry and both Minette and Susan do an excellent job. I highly recommend Dr Thacker, Dr Bustos and their team, and thank them for a very positive outcome and for providing personalized services for their patients.”
